Transferring an existing provident fund

A clear, step-by-step procedure for the transfer and dissolution of an existing provident fund into POLARIS.

EGM of the fund's members

Two-thirds of the fund's members must approve the transfer and dissolution of the provident fund.

Employer's consent

Written consent for the transfer, signed by the employer.

Agreement between the funds

The transferring and receiving funds agree the terms of the transfer.

Participation agreements

Employer and employees join POLARIS.

Request to the Registrar

Submission of the transfer request to the Registrar, including the zero account.

Completion of the transfer

Executed upon approval of the Registrar.
